As Britain gets ready to emerge from lockdown, hard-working volunteers are still working hard to make the Crags clean and safe for families to visit.
Tony and Carol Sellars, of the Friends of The Crags group recently took time out to gather another huge haul of litter, to be hauled away by Doncaster Council.
And on the May Bank Holiday Sunday, in company with DMBC councillor Lani Mae, they moved in, to start cleaning work in Lady’s Valley.
Leon Clemitshaw was a star of the show, carrying huge bucket-loads of glass from the area, to transport away by car.
This is filthy work, and not a lot of fun at the best of times – so PLEASE, PLEASE think twice before throwing down litter on The Crags … or anywhere else for that matter!
