Doncaster Council have moved in to give the Crags a wash and brush-up to go with the new, revitialised lighting! DMBC Street Clean workers moved into the area to cut back vegetation – and shift mounds of rubbish tipped on the Crags, as part of a concerted clean-up operation.

Consequently, the paths are now looking clean and tidy as well as well-lit for walkers.

The clean-up is part of an ongoing operation neing worked in conjunction with local DMBC councillors Lani Mae, Ian Pearsaon and Nidge Ball.

Lani Mae said: “Fantastic work continues to be carried out by street scene on the Crags!

Lots of tipped rubbish cleared up if individuals could stop doing that, it would be great! Paths are looking lovely and clean for people to enjoy a walk.

“Thanks very much to the team who are working incredibly hard at the moment. We really do appreciate everything you do”.

And she encouraged local residents: “If there other areas that you think need addressing please don’t hesitate to contact us via phone or email and let us know”.

Below are some more shots of the hard work put in on the clean-up.
