Why not journey back to Roman times with us… and help clean up the Crags while you’re at it?!
The Friends of the Crags are organising a walk up to the old Roman lookout post, on Friday, October 14, starting at 10am.
Leaving Copley Avenue, Conanby, at that time, we will walk to the site of the outpost – from which the Romans controlled the River Don (or Dunn, as it was)… siince the lookout post had sight of the two major river crossings in the area.
As we go, we’ll help spruce up the area with a litter pick.
So come and join us on our Roman adventure!
