The Lady’s Valley section of The Crags is now regaining its former beauty – after a massive clean-up undertaken by local councillors and Friends of The Crags, with Leon Clemitshaw leading from the front!

A veritable mountain of glass and rubbish has already been removed from the floor of the valley, although much more work is yet needed before it will be considered safe for families to visit.

If you would like to help with the clean-up, please get in touch on our Contact page!

Further work is also goinbg on to identify viewpoints on the Crags site, and – given the latest wisdom over climate change – rather than chopping down any trees, it is planned to re-site seating in better viewing areas.
